Urgent requirement: offshore rigger (Vermont)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Caledonia County, Vermont. Your main tasks: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
