Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Mills County, Iowa. You will be based in a catering unit. You will mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar; hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method; help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls. You should have: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) 5+ years on the tools preferred.
