AC and fridge repair technician — Franklin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an AC and fridge repair technician in Franklin County, Ohio. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Your main tasks: • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Meals and transport allowance provided.
