Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Boone County, Nebraska. The job is at a power plant. On a typical shift you will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
