Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing presser in Androscoggin County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On a typical shift you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; give each garment a final press before packing; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number.
