Join our team: we are hiring a machinist in Atlantic County, New Jersey. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
