We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Bradford, England. The job is in a toolroom. On the job you will handle: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
