Safety inspector wanted in Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety inspector in Franklin County, Illinois. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations On the job you will handle: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
