Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The role involves: • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
