Great opportunity: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
