Join our team: we are hiring a tube and fitting scaffolder in York County, South Carolina. You will be based at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold On a typical shift you will fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use.
