Falsework carpenter wanted in San Luis Obispo County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in San Luis Obispo County, California. The job is on a residential tower site. On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
