Immediate opening: steel fixing chargehand (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Johnston County, North Carolina. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level On the job you will handle: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
