Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
