Urgent requirement: stainless steel welder (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Oakland County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job.
