We are recruiting: ladle pourer (Florida)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Calhoun County, Florida. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
