Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Rush County, Kansas. The job is on a building construction site. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
