Great opportunity: we are hiring an automobile electrical mechanic in Grundy County, Iowa. You will be based at an authorised car dealership. Day-to-day duties: • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner • Replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches • Check charging system output and battery voltage • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Read and clear ECU fault codes Requirements: • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Own basic hand tools preferred Six days a week, one day off.
