Lift mechanic wanted in Iron County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Iron County, Michigan. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
