Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Rotating shifts.
