Semi-automatic welder wanted in Tom Green County

Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Tom Green County, Texas. The job is at an automobile body shop. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
