We are recruiting: hoist operator (North Carolina)

Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Richmond County, North Carolina. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Rotating shifts.
