Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Morgan County, Kentucky. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. Your main tasks: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules $31 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
