Vacancy available: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in Barnsley, England. Requirements: • Clean police verification with no criminal record • 1-2 years experience as a security guard Your main tasks: • Respond to intrusion alarms and panic alerts • Man the reception desk and direct visitors to the right block • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals We offer £14 per hour plus benefits.
