Urgent requirement: foundry operative (Washington)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry operative in Jefferson County, Washington. The job is at a busy iron foundry. You will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience.
