Now hiring: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Mecosta County, Michigan. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; work out the load weight and the lifting radius. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
