Cold room technician • Ellsworth County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Ellsworth County, Kansas. Day to day you will charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. What we are looking for: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
