Overhead (EOT) crane operator wanted in Boone County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Boone County, Iowa. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Current medical and eyesight certificate Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
