Immediate opening: we are hiring a RCC mason in Barnwell County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Part-time with flexible hours.
