Brick and block layer wanted in Smyth County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Smyth County, Virginia. You will be based at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
