On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
