Argon welder wanted in Ibiono Ibom

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Ibiono Ibom, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Overtime paid at a premium rate.
