Concrete shuttering carpenter • Choctaw County, Alabama

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Choctaw County, Alabama. You will work at a reinforced concrete building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing You will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
