Rebar fixer — South Gloucestershire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in South Gloucestershire, England. Day-to-day duties: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
