Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Quitman County, Mississippi. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
