Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics On a typical shift you will shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch.
