Reinforcement steel fixer • Kano Municipal, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Kano Municipal, Kano State. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around ₦105,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
