Immediate opening: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms The role involves set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well.
