Vehicle body repairer — Fife

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Fife, Scotland. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. On the job you will handle: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer Requirements: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling 6+ years on the tools preferred.
