Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Edwards County, Illinois. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
