We are recruiting: argon welder (Adamawa State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Yola South, Adamawa State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
