Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fitter in Schley County, Georgia. You will be based at a marble and granite workshop. You should have: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Day-to-day duties: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
