Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machinist in Bullitt County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time, day shift.
