Machine operator (earthworks) • Northumberland County, Pennsylvania

Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. The role involves excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. What we are looking for: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites 6+ years on the tools preferred.
