Immediate opening: we are hiring a road roller operator in Mountrail County, North Dakota. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Your main tasks: • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations 4+ years on the tools preferred.
