Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Middlesex County, New Jersey. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Your main tasks: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
