Gtaw welder — Rio Grande County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Rio Grande County, Colorado. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
