Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Phillips County, Montana. The job is at a road and highway construction project. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Day-to-day duties: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
