Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Green County, Kentucky. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium The role involves set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
