Rebar installer — Lee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Lee County, Virginia. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Full-time, day shift.
